Restaurant billing software that runs on your phone

Take the order, print the bill, settle in cash or UPI, close the day. One app for the counter, the kitchen and the books.

Short answer: NamastePOS is restaurant billing software you install on an Android phone. Bill in a few taps, fire the KOT to the kitchen, and keep billing when the network drops, because every order is written to the device first and replayed on reconnect with an ID that cannot be charged twice.

What it costs: Starter is ₹0 forever. Paid plans start at ₹299 a month per register. GST tax invoices start on Pro at ₹799 a month. 7-day free trial on paid plans, no card, no annual lock-in.

Offline, not offline-ish

Orders are written to the phone and replayed on reconnect with idempotent IDs. A bill cannot be charged twice.

The phone is the till

Android, iOS and a web dashboard. Staff sign in with a phone number and a 4-digit PIN.

GST done properly

CGST/SGST/IGST tax invoices with HSN per item from the Pro plan. E-invoice formats from Advanced.

Your data, your exit

Live reports on every plan, including the free one. Export any time. Monthly billing, cancel when you like.

Day one

What billing looks like on the first shift

Add your menu, print a bill, and you are running. No installation visit, no server in the back room.

Bill in a few taps

Tap items, apply a discount, take cash, UPI, card or a split payment. Print on a Bluetooth or network thermal printer, or send the bill on WhatsApp.

The kitchen gets the order

Every order fires a KOT to the kitchen printer or the kitchen display. Nobody shouts the order across the pass, and nothing gets cooked twice.

Day-end that adds up

Close the day and see cash in drawer against UPI, card and wallet. Live sales reports are on every plan, including the free one.

Offline billing

Billing does not stop when the network does

This is the part most billing software gets wrong. NamastePOS does not queue your order in a browser tab and hope. It writes the order to the phone as the source of truth.

  • The order is saved on the device the moment you take it.
  • KOTs keep firing, bills keep printing, payments keep settling.
  • When the network is back, orders replay in order with a stable ID, so a bill can never be charged twice.
  • Nothing to switch on. There is no separate offline mode to remember.

No PC, no billing machine, no AMC

The phone in your pocket is the register. A second phone at the counter is a second register. Captains take orders at the table on their own handset.

  • Staff sign in with their phone number and a 4-digit PIN. No email, no password to forget.
  • Kitchen display, captain mode and token generation are in the free plan.
  • The web dashboard opens on any laptop for menus, staff and reports.
  • QR self-ordering, so a table can order from their own phone.

GST, stated plainly

Plenty of billing software says "GST ready" and leaves you to find out what that means. Here is exactly what prints on which plan.

  • Starter and Growth print plain invoices and receipts.
  • Pro prints GST tax invoices with CGST/SGST or IGST and HSN per item.
  • Advanced adds e-invoice formats, plus P&L and balance sheet.
  • Tax is worked out on the server, so a discount or a modifier cannot break the maths.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is restaurant billing software?
It is the software that takes an order, prints or shares the bill, records the payment and keeps a record you can check at day-end. In NamastePOS it also fires the KOT to the kitchen, handles UPI, cash, card and split payments, and writes every order to the phone first so a network drop cannot stop billing.
How much does restaurant billing software cost?
Starter is free forever at ₹0 for a single counter. Growth is ₹299 a month or ₹2,990 a year. Pro is ₹799 a month or ₹7,990 a year. Advanced is ₹999 a month or ₹9,990 a year. Enterprise is ₹1,999 a month or ₹19,990 a year. Prices are per register, billed monthly with no annual lock-in, and yearly works out to about two months free.
Which plans print GST tax invoices?
GST tax invoices with CGST, SGST or IGST and HSN per item start on the Pro plan at ₹799 a month. E-invoice formats start on Advanced at ₹999 a month. Starter and Growth print plain invoices and receipts, not GST tax invoices.
Do I need a billing machine or a computer?
No. An Android phone is enough to run the counter. Add a Bluetooth or network thermal printer if you want printed bills and KOTs, and use the web dashboard on any laptop for reports. iOS and web are supported too.
